Lukas came to Kodiak in 2015 and never left. He’s chartered, commercial fished and holds a 100 ton master’s license. An avid outdoorsman and hunter, he’s passionate about sharing his love for nature and the ocean with you and your family and friends.

Lukas and Tasnah were married in 2018 joining passions and talents to create Kodiak Marine Charters! Fun fact: Tasnah gets super sea sick!

Fritz started his journey to Kodiak as a deckhand with Lukas. He fell in love with this island and fishing and got his captain’s license in 2024. After a season captaining in Larsen Bay, Fritz and Lukas purchased the Daybreak, expanding the fleet. Their partnership has since strengthened their commitment to providing exceptional fishing experiences.

The Moonlight is a 43’ Delta Coast Guard Inspected vessel.

It has a capacity for 18 passengers and 2 crew. However, we typically limit our fishing and sightseeing trips to 8 clients. The Moonlight has a cozy cabin with ample seating both inside and outside. The walk around deck allows for ample fishing space and great views! There is a full bathroom on board for your convenience.

The Daybreak is a 43’ Delta.

Joining our fleet for the 2025 season, the Daybreak is captained by Fritz.
