This was definitely a highlight of our trip to Kodiak. Luke and his crew and staff were so nice and accommodating. They were invested in ensuring we got to go out, catch some Halibut and have an awesome experience. Would highly recommend. Came home with a full cooler! He knew where to find fish and kept the charter moving so we never got board.

It was my daughter and my first time ever ocean fishing. Lukas and Fritz were fabulous at teaching us the ropes and talking us through a successful catch all day long! The boat is super comfortable. Lukas put us in the best spots for us to catch our limit for the boat efficiently. We had such a great time and our boat had great people on it making the experience fun. I would definitely go out again with Lukas and Fritz (they even taught us how to filet one of our fish to take home and cook.

First time fishing. I didn’t think I would like fishing that much, but now I can’t stop daydreaming about it! Captain Lukas and deckhand Fritz have a really great heart to teach others and share their love for the ocean. I caught salmon, halibut, yellow eyes, cod, lingcod, and even an octopus! I had so much fun! Can’t wait for next summer to fish on this beautiful boat again! 😊🐟

My wife and I spent a very pleasant day fishing on Kodiak Marine Charters. Captain Lucas and his brother Fritz were terrific hosts, in addition to being very skilled at putting us on spots were ample fish were biting. The boat is of good size and thus is very comfortable, and thus enabled us to easily reach several distant, excellent fishing locales. I highly recommend booking a trip with Kodiak Marine Charters if you intent on fishing for halibut, king salmon, cod and rock fish out of Kodiak, Alaska.

Great experience with this outfit last summer. The skipper, Lukas, knew the good fishing grounds and gave us good instruction as to bait and how to operate a line. The fish (mainly Kings and some Halibut) were biting constantly and the galley was warm and had good seating(plenty of good coffee available too!). Skipper Lukas was often on the deck to help if we landed a "big one". He helped to make true what many people say: Kodiak is fishing heaven!
